We work with dependent and non-minor dependent males between the ages of 11 and 21, offering individualized treatment plans built on cognitive behavioral principles. Our goal is always the same: to reunify families and give every young person the tools to succeed.
What We Do
A Whole-Person Approach to Youth Recovery
Our multidisciplinary team addresses the full range of each resident’s needs, from mental health and family dynamics to education and daily living skills.
Structured Residential Care
Stable, home-like environment with 24-hour supervision from licensed professionals and youth development specialists.
Individualized Treatment Plans
Every resident receives a tailored plan addressing their unique needs — from substance abuse to peer relationships and self-esteem.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Evidence-based CBT empowers youth to manage emotions, make responsible choices, and build healthier habits.
Family Reunification
Family involvement is actively supported through visits at our facilities and in family homes — lasting change happens within the family unit.
Mental Health Services
Through county partnerships, residents access social work, psychological counseling, and psychiatric services.
Education & Daily Living
Housing, meals, clothing, and school support give residents the stability to focus on growth.
Rehabilitation
We rebuild basic life skills, daily routines, and personal accountability for healthy independent living.
Case Management
Dedicated case managers coordinate every aspect of care — from referrals and milestones to school enrollment and transition planning.
Mentorship
Trusted adult mentors guide residents through real-world challenges, modeling positive behavior and offering consistent support.

WHO WE SERVE
Humanistic Foundation serves ambulatory male minors and young adults from ages 11 to 21, including those referred by California courts, the County of Los Angeles, and Kern County.
OUR LOCATIONS
We serve youth in West Los Angeles, Inglewood, and Bakersfield, CA — with capacity for up to 26 residents at a time across four licensed facilities.
